We are very excited to welcome Abby Wollman, our newest Acupuncturist at Dynamic Acupuncture. Abby will be in the clinic starting on Monday, November 13th. Abby’s schedule is now available for booking and we look forward to you getting to work with them soon!
Abby Wollman (she/her) is a Southern California native who now calls the beautiful Pacific Northwest home. She is a licensed acupuncturist, Shiatsu practitioner, clinical herbalist, as well as Taichi and Qigong enthusiast. She enjoys helping her patients carve out a space of safety and healing away from the hustle-bustle of life, and prioritizes patient-centered, trauma-informed care as a means of doing so.
Abby is trained in both Classical Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture, a variety of bodywork techniques including Shiatsu, Sotai, myofascial release and visceral manipulation. She's also an advocate for community-centered health care and mutual aid, and has worked in a variety of healthcare related non-profits.
Abby volunteered with the non-profit Acupuncture Relief Project in Nepal, where she treated a wide range of patients with complex health conditions using acupuncture and Chinese medicine as primary care. She earned her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine here in Portland, Oregon at the National University of Natural Medicine, and is Nationally Board Certified as a Diplomat of Acupuncture through the NCCAOM and licensed with the state of Oregon.
Outside of her work handling needles as an acupuncturist, Abby's passion for sharp objects can also be seen in her pursuit of rock climbing on the abundant granite walls of the Pacific Northwest, and in her love of sewing (and crafting of all kinds).
We look forward to you meeting and working with Abby soon! Abby is a compassionate, intuitive, and skilled practitioner. If you have previously worked with any other provider at the clinic, you can schedule with Abby as a return visit.
