I was referred to Tara for some nagging muscle soreness while training for a marathon. At my first visit, Tara was easily able to not only locate the source of pain, but to quickly release the tension in the area. This was a MAJOR release for me, and the treatment left me feeling more grounded and at peace with myself.

Abby (she/her) enjoys helping her patients carve out a space of safety and healing away from the hustle-bustle of life, and prioritizes patient-centered, trauma-informed care as a means of doing so. J (“Jay”) Braide, Acupuncturist
J (he/him) has thrived in the healthcare field for more than 20 years, specializing in painful and chronic, complex disease, and delving deeply into the root causes of disease, whether it be skin issues, digestive upset, or insomnia. And prior to obtaining his license in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, he worked as a health care journalist and massage therapist.
Even simple injuries may be the result of a longer-lasting underlying condition that needs to be addressed as well. And, truly, the only way to approach a complex, living being is with humility, openness, persistence, and the belief that the body can do a tremendous amount of healing on its own when given the chance. J incorporates pulse-taking, abdominal diagnosis, medical qigong and other modalities to do this.
